1, underglaze flower paper
Underglaze paper is developed from the most original lithographic (lead) paper extension. It is a simple paper that is easy to absorb water and has a soft texture as the base paper, and the reverse printing pattern of the water agent with glaze is printed on the surface, and then the reverse paste is placed on the embryonic enamel of the ceramic. This process is characterized by easy firing (one firing), cost saving, bright, good wear resistance, in line with international health standards, it also occupies a certain place in the decoration of dinnerware porcelain. However, its disadvantages are rough patterns, difficult decals, and difficult packaging.
2, water transfer decal paper
Water transfer decal paper (commonly known as small film flower paper) is the most popular ceramic decoration in China. The printing form of water transfer decal paper can be lithography, screen printing and steel plate transfer, the most commonly used of these three is screen printing. The most basic material of water transfer decal paper is small film bottom paper, which is a kind of water-absorbing paper with a water-soluble film on the surface. The printed floral paper is soaked in water. After absorbing water, the paper dissolves the hydrosol on the surface, which can make the pattern of the oil agent slide and separate from the surface of the paper. It’s called a water shift decal.
The bottom paper of the water transfer decal paper should have good water absorption, but it also brings a contradiction, that is, in the printing process, if the bottom paper absorbs too much water, it will become heavy and soft, the paper is not good to finish and operate, and the paper is bound to swell, resulting in inaccurate color in the printing process, this inaccurate feature makes the expansion irregular, is a difficult problem to solve. If it encounters dry weather, the paper will shrink and become smaller, which will also cause inaccurate color. When this happens, the paper may have the phenomenon of four corners warping, which is not good to finish and is not easy to print. Therefore, when selecting the base paper, it is necessary to emphasize its stability. Secondly, the environment of the printing workshop should be kept constant temperature and constant humidity, the temperature is controlled at 22 ° C, and the humidity is about 55%. Another key point of paper is the surface performance of hydrosol, which requires smoothness and is not easy to harden, shrink and crack. Identify the quality of the paper, whether it is suitable for your production, to use the simulation of production test. The phenomenon of four corners or one side of the flower paper is warped, mostly because of the hardening and contraction of the hydrosol surface. If it is difficult to dehydrate the printed flower paper, it is because when the printed pattern is dried, the hydrosol surface of the paper surface cracks, and after the cover glue is applied, the cover glue adheres to the paper due to the cracking, which can be observed with an X10 magnifying glass. The bottom paper with this phenomenon is not suitable for drying, can only be printed with less color, and can only be naturally dried and cannot be put into the oven.
3, polyvinyl butyral film paper
Polyvinyl butyric aldehyde film flower paper is also called “alcohol flower paper”, it is made of butyric aldehyde and alcohol as raw materials, made of film as the base paper, printed on the surface of the base paper, and now this process still has a large market, because of low cost, only 1/3 of the price of water transfer decal paper, the process and effect can basically meet the decorative requirements, the PVB is dissolved into 12~14% solution with ethanol, Then it is made into a film, printing with it instead of ceramic (or enamel) flower paper, that is, save the process, and improve the quality of the product, the ceramic (or enamel) pattern burned out bright color, smooth texture. Early decal paper printing was a layer of thin paper mounted on a thick paper base by hand as a substrate since the 1970s improved on the thick paper base with mechanical coating of polyvinyl butyral film as a substrate Mechanical coating film not only saves paper to improve production efficiency but also improves the working conditions of workers. Its disadvantages are in three aspects: first, the backing paper of butyral film is thick, and the mouth behind the use is not neat, and it is difficult to register the pattern when printing; On the other hand, due to the nature of the film, it cannot print precious metal preparations; On the other hand, its ductility is limited and it cannot be attached to irregular planes. However, because the large film paper has the most competitive advantage of low price, it will continue to be used as a decorative material for Chinese ceramics.
Tangshan win-win ceramics is dinnerware, cup, water, tea, coffee and other products professional production and processing company, has a complete and scientific quality management system. Has been adhering to the “customer first, quality first, reputation first” purpose, and “quality is the life of the enterprise, culture is the enterprise brand” development concept, attaches great importance to the traditional ceramic culture inheritance and modern ceramic culture innovation combination.
